All products are scanned on inward receival into our WMS. Microlistics 3PL WMS enables clients to view important details about warehousing status, check stock levels for particular items and view movements throughout the day.
Microlistics functionality helps Melbourne Cold Storage receive and sort stock and control processes such as palletization, directed putaway, freezing all while maintaining stock integrity regarding date codes and batch/lot numbers.
On the outbound side, Microlistics directs the operator to the pick the oldest stock using First Expiry First Out (FEFO) functionality as well as maintaining batch/lot integrity and documentation for export container loads. Small picks are rolled up into a one stage wave pick using multi-order scanpacking which was specially configured to include catchweight scanning for Melbourne Cold Storage.
